In 2005, the inside of the potable storage tanks of Braithwaite were protected with ZINGA (2 pictures below).

All together, 9 of these tanks have been protected with ZINGA. Some of these tanks were bigger than houses. On new tanks the surface was blasted to SA 2,5 and Rz 65 µm and the ZINGA was applied by airless spray.
On old tanks the existing zinc was given a sweep blast at 50 psi using 45° nozzle angle and in this case, ZINGA was applied by short-fibre rollers and brushes for inside corners and flanges.

After application the Zinganised walls were sprayed with fresh water to harden the ZINGA and avoid any risk on zinc taste or zinc deposits in the potable water.
