The Guotai Arts Centre is located in the Liberation Monument Area in downtown Chongqing and is one of the top 10 public attractions of Chongqing. The design concept of the center originates from the Han Dynasty and features the main color tone of China red which represents wealth and prosperity, and also looks like the color of Chongqing’s red pepper.It shows the upright and warmhearted personalities of Chongqing
people.

The construction started in January 2009 and was delivered in July 2013.
