FOUNTAIN IN PEOPLE’S PARK – DUBLIN – IRELAND

The castings of these fountains were done in Glasgow, Scotland circa 1850, so they have a
wonderful history. The last refurbishment was done just after World War II. Picture left, one of the 2 blue-white These cast-iron fountains in the People’s Park In Dublin were totally refurbished in December 2007.
The cast-iron has been totally blasted, then all small holes, corners and edges were spot touched up with ZINGA with a short brush, then the whole structure was protected with ZINGA and sprayed with the additional intermediate and topcoats.
