In September 1997, the company Dura Steel Piping (DSP) was applying ZINGA by means of
dipping on frames for Opel, VW and Hyundai.
First they decontaminated the surface (SA 2,5), after which they roughened it by using
crystallized phosphating to obtain the required roughness of Rz 50-70 µm.
To make sure that the correct layer thicknesses were achieved, they diluted ZINGA by adding 7% (weight by weight) Zingasolv until ZINGA had a viscosity of 18-20 sec (Ford Cup 4).
