The Oscarsborg Fortress is a coastal fortress in the Oslofjord, close to the small town of
Drøbak in Akershus County,Norway.It was built on the Kaholmene Islands to protect Oslo.
The fortress is best known for sinking the German heavy cruiser Blücher on 9April 1940 with
the cannons “Moses” and“ Aaron”. In 2014 the Oscarsborg Fortress became National Heritage.
It has more than fifteen 28mm caliber cannons built by Kruppat the end of the 19th century.
