The Guangzhou TV Tower (Canton Tower) is a 610m high lattice telecommunication tower built
in the Chinese city of Guangzhou. On top of the tower is an observation deck and in the building
several restaurants are incorporated.
The tower is built up out of 24 tubular pipes each measuring 2 metres in diameter and
10 metres in length. Total tonnage of steel used was approximately 50.000 tons
26 Tons of ZINGA were applied on the welds of the piles (approximately 10.000 m²).
The tower was finished at the end of 2009, just before the start of the Asian Games in 2010.
